According to the February/March 1970 edition of
Vogue Pattern Book International, the House of Galitzine made its Italian debut in 1960, by presenting the renowned "palazzo pyjamas" at the Pitti Palace in Florence. "Palazzo pyjamas" is the jet-set name for
culottes!
