plus awesome ephemeral photo choice
I have some amazing pix from that day of Tura "demonstrating" some of her favorite, ahem, sizes...
I knew you would have something on Tura! This is so sad....She was the best thing in the only truly good film Russ Meyer ever made. The doc. Siouxzann (sp) Perry is making should get funding now and a lot of publicity when released.Love the photo you posted; I have never seen it!
The "Miss Japan Beautiful" one? I took the second one on her bday. I knew Tura well and loved her so much. She was like a mother to me-I'll miss her calling and yelling at me if I don't get a flu shot. And I meant what I said - I wouldn't be living where I am if it weren't for her, or doing what I'm doing. It's all because of Tura in some way.
I am really, truly sorry. She was one in a million.
Thanks, hon. She sure was. She loved my Chester to pieces.
I just found out and knew you'd have something up for her. She was a gorgeous glamazon and inspiration! Bless you, Madame Tura!
I'm so sorry you lost a friend!!!!! She'll be watching out for you still.
Been so out of the loop this weekend. I'm so sorry honey, I just saw the obit in the LA Times and came straight here. Call me if you need anything.
Thanks honey. K & I have each other, thank goodness. xoox
