T.H.E. Cat = H.O.T.

Robert Loggia, damn. I even like him now. So what? You can get T.H.E. Cat (and other cool) comics here.

Liz'n'Eddie

I've had the good fortune to see Debbie Reynolds perform twice - once publicly, and once privately (at Ernest Borgnine's birthday party!) Eddie is a regular joke in her act. Connie Stevens was at Ernie's party, too, making it even stranger.
But my favorite Eddie couple is, of course, Liz'n'Eddie. Some of the greatest wedding photos ever (a Vegas Jewish wedding!) before Burton came along, denoting Fisher to the role of "The Butler," a name he openly called him.

Little Show-Offs on Shapely Heels
I went shoe shopping for something to wear with the palazzo culottes, but can't decide if I should buy 1, 5, or 6: BUTTONED UP TONGUE, contrasting piping do an upbeat fashion tune on Panda™ crinkle vinyl patent uppers.

Disco Beat!

The funny thing is, the one photo I have of The Cheetah got linked on a bunch of fetish blogs. They must be really disappointed when they get here ...

Culottes Came Back!
You might remember the Culottes, Come Back! post of a while ago. Wide legs and lurid prints = stylish loungewear to dress up your at-home hours. These vintage beauties were found this weekend at Goodwill, and after a strong disinfectant wash, the slinky synthetic fabric remained as bold as the day it was sewn, 40 years ago. The pants leg measures 20 inches across! Beware of looking at the print for too long or you may have a seizure. These are way too wild for Tricia Nixon, but she'd look great in them!

Lust for Kicks

Miss Lily found this and how fitting because yours truly has some big news! And would you look at Norma Desmond ... can't even hold it together at a wedding. Damn.

The Boatniks
Miss Lily's pal, Anne Greensprings, discovered this movie. And wow - as Annie puts it: "Alongside the charismatic stars listed on the back cover (below), the movie features Al "Grandpa Munster" Lewis, Norman "Stanley Roper" Fell, and Wally "Hollywood Squares" Cox (as a Hefner-esque, robe-clad womanizer!)" That's enough to send me into a frenzy, but sadly, no clips feature Wally ... I must be the only one who finds him fantasy-worthy. Still:
