Norma, I'm sure Tom's making plenty of other calls ... Jami - he hasn't? Mave, how come we haven't seen Tom together?!
Donna - not that I know of! And Lord knows there's plenty of places in Costa Mesa to perform now. Not just our semi-outdoor amphitheater but also the PAC, a big concert hall, etc. We may not be LA but we have places people can perform.
Now Tony Bennett was here a few years ago. I wish he'd come back as my mom's best friend is a huge fan - when her husband was alive even when he went blind they would dance to Tony's music - but she had a huge fall just 48 hours before the show and was massively bruised up and in a wheelchair, eyes were swollen shut - so she couldn't go. What with her going blind now from macular(sp) degeneration and her health always getting poorer she's not sure how much longer she has. So it would be nice if Tony would come back to Costa Mesa and send Loraine some free tickets!
I swear, if I ever met Tony I'd ask him if he could at least send Loraine an autographed CD.

The show was very good and he liked the audience.
In 2008 he rocked the theather down. It was the best Id seen of him in 30 years.
I hate the grey look - he looks like "Grady" on Sanford and Son" which is kinda upsetting to me, but still. TOM!
