I nearly fainted when I saw the trailer for the new Chris Rock movie. If there was ever a film made for a group viewing of Dusty, PZ, and me, this is it! It's got everything we love and more. I love that he made it and I can't wait to see it:

Imagine a triple feature of "Hair", "Hairspray" and "Good Hair"!
I'd go see all of those-despite the hippies in "Hair"!

It brings to memory the brilliant production number "Straight or Nappy" from Spike Lee's "School Daze"
I have never been able to sit thru "Hair."
Y'know, white women's hair peaked with hairspray and went downhill when the blow dryer came in - literally. It all came tumbling down.
