A Newcomer at El Madhouse
from one of my favorite movies - "Screaming Mimi," 1958. Keep an eye out for it on TCM; it's been remastered (I hear) and is now on DVD, though I treasure my bootleg copy. With a cast that includes Anita Ekberg, Gypsy Rose Lee, Philip Carey and The Red Norvo Trio - what's not to love?
PS. Music by Mischa Bakaleinikoff
I once stayed in his former Hollywood Hills home! It still had the original basement theater seats. Check out his other credits.

Just read the synopsis on IMDB. Woohoo! I'd never realised how much Gypsy Rose Lee reminds me of Rosalind Russell, who played her screen mother in "Gypsy"
Wow! is it warm in here or is it just the leggy hottie in skimpy underpants dancing with ropes?
If anyone needs me I'll be in the shower...all day.
Not just ropes, James, but the majority of the dance she's also shackled.
She's some BDSM-lover's dream come true.
I caught this movie at TCM because I thought it could be from the Master Mystery-SciFi writer Frederic Brown and it was!!
Book is very hard to find.
Thanks. Our minds think alike. Nice Vince
Glad you got to see it - hope TCM shows it more often! I have a copy of it now in case I can't wait. Twisted!
