Remember when Oliver ran for mayor? Maybe he should run for Governor!

Or was that Newt Kiley who went to Argentina? I'm beginning to feel more like Lisa.

Thanks Mel!

Oh, dear, he doesn't expect us to believe it's THAT big, does he?

Oh, and the resemblance betwixt the obscure Gov and the only-slightly-more-obscure-but-more-fun-to-be-around TV character actor is uncanny, isn't it Peg? (Peg says "Yes, very!")

I'm so glad you posted this, we've been laughing all morning in the office about this.

I made my facebook status: "The biggest self of self is indeed self - Gov (not Fred!) Sanford" ... now that Carradine is dead, my kung-fu wisdom will have to be found elsewhere.

Don't forget Bea Arthur! Good lord, it's a whole '70s reunion special.

And Estelle Getty before Bea. (Frankly, I think Estelle made the Golden Girls. Though I always wanted the confidence of Blanche and the body of Rose - cause let's face it, when it comes to boobs, Rose has it goin' on.)
